भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के युवा सलामी बल्लेबाज अभिषेक शर्मा ने एशिया कप 2025 के सुपर-4 मुकाबले में बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ तूफानी पारी खेलकर सुर्खियां बटोरीं। बाएं हाथ के इस विस्फोटक बल्लेबाज ने केवल 37 गेंदों में 75 रन ठोक दिए। उनकी पारी में छह चौके और पांच गगनचुंबी छक्के शामिल रहे। इस पारी के दौरान उन्होंने अपने गुरु और भारतीय क्रिकेट के दिग्गज खिलाड़ी युवराज सिंह का रिकॉर्ड भी पीछे छोड़ दिया। अभिषेक ने सिर्फ 25 गेंदों पर अर्धशतक पूरा कर लिया, जिससे वह टी20 इंटरनेशनल में सबसे तेज पचास बनाने वाले भारतीय बल्लेबाजों की सूची में तीसरे स्थान पर पहुंच गए।
